About Steve and His Firm
Steve Goozée was born at an army post in Ft. Lee, Virginia, on November 24, 1959. He was admitted to the Alabama Bar in 1987, and is admitted to all state
and federal courts in Alabama. He has been admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He graduated from Stetson University
(B.A., Political Science, 1981, Order of Omega), and from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University (J.D. 1986).
Mr. Goozée is a proud father and husband. He is married to Christine Goozée, and has three children: Jeff, Zac, and Ali. Before settling in
Birmingham in 1983, Steve lived in many different parts of the country, including Virginia, California, New York and Florida. He has had the opportunity
to experience a wide variety of American culture.
Since 1987, Mr. Goozée has been about helping people in situations that call for a zealous advocate to step in to the shoes of his clients and making
sure that they were well represented no matter who they were or what type of case was involved. Mr. Goozée's clients come from all walks of life... from
doctors and businessmen who have contractual and business disputes with their partners, police officers and school teachers who were sexually harassed by their
superiors, the working men and women in Alabama who have been injured on the job and/or terminated wrongfully, to victims of personal injury or wrongful
